Dr. Lerner always puts me at ease and explains my care thoroughly

She helped me with my situation and fixed the issue of pain. She gave me suggestions and concerns and informed me of what might happen if the pain did not go away. When I got home I did what she said, and she solved the issue. I am grateful. The team at Hartford Healthcare makes you feel like they care. They listen well and seem genuinely concerned about what is going on.

I only said fair bc she wasn't able to answer some questions, BUT she said it was bc it's out of her expertise, and therefore she didn't want to speak to it. She DID give me referrals to people who could answer my questions

Dr. Lerner is VERY knowledgeable and helped me pick different medications that would fit my current condition more properly. I appreciated her input and the ability to start things over at a different dose to help me more slowly get to where we want to be.

My issue is getting to see my PCP. If it is a scheduled visit - into the future - that is fine. If I am not well and would like to see my PCP, that is not a high probability occurrence. The PCP might be available months from the request. Next the question is if I would care to see someone in the practice. Yes, that is preferable but most times, those doctors are also months away. So then it is suggested to go to HHC emergency. So I do that or end up at CVS Minute Clinic. So, why do I have a PCP again?

Lori has been my Primary Doctor for several years. She is prepared when we meet and our health related conversations are easy to understand and thorough. Lori follows through on necessary referrals quickly and is great at answering any questions on the “My Chart” portal .

My visit with Dr Lerner was seamless from check in to check out. Reception was friendly with very short wait time. Dr Lerner’s medical assistant ( wish I could remember her name ), was very personable and efficient and followed up with a few questions that I had asked. Dr Lerner addressed all pertinent health issues with a follow up plan and I also received 2 immunizations in an efficient manner. All in all a good visit.

This was my first appointment with Dr. Lerner, and I could not be more pleased with the visit. She was very courteous, yet easy going, and listened to all of my concerns and made suggestions for treatment going forward. Looking forward to having Dr. Lerner as my new PCP.
