You should have an absolutely excellent category to pick from because Dr Jordan KUNKES was by far the most comprehensive, patient kind and insightful doctor. He took the time to explain to me about the Heart structure, plumbing and electricity, gave me specific examples and actually looked at the film with me rather than just reading the radiology report. We were very impressed and felt completely confident in his care. Dr Kunkes is an absolutely excellent stand out Dr for sure! We were told he was thorough and that is certainly an understatement! His patients are very blessed to have him for care. Excellence.

Dr. Kunkes fully explains, even has done a drawing to help more clearly show my valve issue, he is totally responsive regarding any questions or concerns I may have, he thinks ahead, he's a calming influence because of his thoughtful, kind personality and he always helps me off the exam table so I won't fall. #4. There only needed to be a change in 1 med - i.e., no longer needed.

I am fortunate to have Dr. Kunkes as my cardiologist. At our first meeting, prior to my examination, Dr. Kunkes had taken the time to review my past medical history. In doing so he shared his medical diagnosis with me. I was totally impressed that a doctor who did not know me at all would advocate for me, prepare me for my future heart health, and create a care plan. Hartford Healthcare Heart & Vascular Institute should be very proud to have a highly skilled doctor as Dr. Kunkes.
