I have already recommended Dr Mian to several people. She treats her patients with respect and compassion. She has never made me feel as if I were just a number, taking up too much of, or wasting her time. She speaks in terms that are easy for the lay person to understand. Dr. Mian is a breath of fresh air. My experience with healthcare has been so bad lately that I actually developed PTSD from how bad it is as well as many other downstream issues. I have a multitude of rare health issues making me a complex patient, and Dr. Mian always listens to my concerns and uses critical thinking to assess what the primary issue Is and focus on it. She also Involves me in the discussion of the treatment plan. Some doctors will literally patients to "pick one problem." They also will tell you to follow a plan without discussing it with you and Insist you follow It even If It doesn't make logical sense and you voice your concerns. Dr. Mian cares about what she does and about other people, so she uses her compassion and common sense. Very few doctors out there are left that do this. Most want to rush you In and out and go home because they're burnt out. Knowing that Dr. Mian has my back and consistently follows through with what she is going to say is very relieving. I am so grateful for her. I hope HHC realizes that they have a unicorn with Dr. Mian. Please treat her well it's seeming like all the good ones have left these roles, but you want to keep her around!

Dr. Mian is very thorough with her visits and really listens to you and above all she really cares. I have been dealing with many doctors due to my husband's health issues and I wish more doctors could take the time to listen and follow through.

I'm still feeling ill, but recovering from the effects of a very persistent bug. Dr. Mian did what both urgent care and a trip to the ER could not. First and foremost, she LISTENED to my concerns, my symptoms and addressed and treated both appropriately. I felt like I mattered and that I was in capable hands. Her staff also conveyed the same concern and compassion. They went the extra mile to contact my insurances so that, to the best of their ability, important medical needs were covered. I look forward to building a working relationship ( I have a complicated health history) with Dr. Mian and her practice. That's something I haven't been able to say since I moved back to CT in 2017. I highly recommend her and her staff.

My visit was great. I feel like she really listened to me. I’m never sure though when I call the office if she will get my msg. I never get to speak to anyone. Always says everyone is busy, and to leave a msg. I really like the doctor though.
