Dr. Hylwa is a unicorn. A pcp who listens, cares and is proactive with keeping me healthy. Most importantly she never feels rushed, when she is in the room she is with only you. A doctor no one I know can relate their own experience too. They all want to switch to her. The office people are always friendly and welcoming no matter how busy they are.

Dr. Hylwa is a very good doctor and I am reasonably new to her. My last visit, I gave her my blood pressure reading and she was pleased that I had taken it BEFORE my appointment. So, this last appointment, I did the same thing and was SCOLDED for not giving her more days of readings. I didn't even get to explain until just BEFORE I left that was what I thought she wanted. My previous doctor did tell me to take my blood pressure EVERY day, I told Dr. Hylwa that and her response was "snippy". Dr. Hylwa did not say that on my first visit to her so was under the impression that she wanted a reading just before my visit to her. Before I left the office, I told her that I would make sure that I had days/months of readings to give to her on my next appointment. I have seen her about 3 to 4 times and she has always be upbeat, answered my concerns and gave me VERY good advice.

I am extremely satisfied with the care I received from Dr. Hylwa and she always includes me in decisions about my care. She makes me feel extremely comfortable with her knowledge and caring attention to detail. I couldn't be in better hands than with her!

Dr hylwa provides excellent care. She spends more time actually talking to and listening to her patients then how fast she can get things entered into her computer like others do. She provides primary care the way its suppose to be. Thats why my mother and my wife have made her their primary care as well.
