Dr borer and I have had a decades long relationship . I see dr borer once a year. I communicate with Dr borer multiple times a year thru messaging thru MyChart. Dr borer often responds the same day I send him a message. Dr borer is interested in my total mental and physical health. I'm impressed with his medical knowledge and the empathy he shows me. I wish there was some way I can return his kindness.

Prior to my contact with Dr. Borer, I suffered decades of very poor services from a significant number of cardiology providers... Dr. Borer was recommended to me by my niece who is a physician's assistant in the Heart Transplant services at Hartford Hospital. I have NO plans to work with anyone else other than Dr. Borer. Cardiology P.C. Is fortunate to have him.

Dr. Borer was incredibly good. He was concise in his discussions and explanation while still taking ample time to address all my questions and concerns. At no time did I feel rushed. His caring and gentle nature put me at ease and he formulated a treatment plan on the stop. I would like to remain under his care as he has all the qualities of an excellent health care provider. Hartford Health care is ver fortunate to have him on their staff.

I asked about another issue - not at all an urgent one - and she was quite brief in her response. She could have been far more helpful. As it turned out, a friend was more helpful than my doc was. But I do consider this doc to be a terrific one nonetheless! This is NOT a major complaint!!!

First of all. Steven Borer DO save me from dying by checking out my heart with one of his tests. He told me I needed a new valve in my heart and recommended the chief heart surgeon who did a perfect Replacement with no scars. I'D RECAMEND HIM TO ANYONE WHO NEEDS A CARDIOLOGIST.

Meeting Dr Boer was an amazing experience. I was spoken to like a human being. Everything explained in great detail and he checked in constantly to make sure I was understanding completely. Never once scoffed at my questions. He also reviewed all of my medical history with me. When it came to testing suggestions, he included me in the decision to do so. This was a far cry from my previous cardiologist who made it clear he had no time for me and knew nothing about anything.

Bio

Dr. Borer received his Bachelor of Science at Union College in Schenectady, NY and then received his medical degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-School of Osteopathic Medicine 2003. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Connecticut in 2006, was Chief Medical Resident in 2007, and completed his cardiology fellowship at Hartford Hospital in 2010, where he served his final year as the Chief Cardiology Fellow. He is a non-invasive cardiologist with board certifications in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease.
