Dr. Al-Khayer is an outstanding physician. He genuinely listens and hears the patient and comes up with a plan. I appreciate how he conducts the visits (a noted format over the years that works) always ending with a verbal summary. He sets up the patient for the best chance of success. A pt that listens and hears in return -- a win win.

Dr Al-Khayer is on top of his game. He is up to date with what is going on in the world of Endocrinology and is always looking out for his patients. He listens and explains in a way you can understand. He does not judge and understands that you have an off day. He makes sure you understand before you leave. I have never felt rushed in my 20 years of being his patient. We need more doctors like Dr Al-Khayer, compassionate, caring, humble, brilliant and up-to-date. I would rate Dr. Al-Khayer a 20/10. He is most of the reason I am so healthy living with Type 1 diabetes for 55 years.
