A PROSPECTIVE, MULTI-CENTER TRIAL TO EVALUATE THE SAFETY AND EFFECTIVENESS OF BEATING HEART MITRAL VALVE REPAIR WITH THE HARPOON SYSTEM
RESTORE is a multi-center, non-randomized trial designed to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the HARPOON Beating Heart Mitral Valve Repair System in patients with severe degenerative mitral regurgitation (DMR). The objective is to show that mitral valve repair with the HARPOON System is superior to conventional, on-pump mitral valve surgery for patients with severe degenerative mitral regurgitation.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
- Patients must have severe degenerative mitral regurgitation
