Webinar: How to Identify, Manage Congestive Heart Failure

Heart failure, a chronic progressive condition where the heart is not working as well as it should be, affects 6.5 million Americans, a number which is projected to continue to rise. Learn more about the condition, which can lead to shortness of breath and fatigue from lack of oxygen, at an upcoming webinar hosted by Hartford Healthcare.

In this free, live webinar session, join Nicole Gallant, APRN, of the Hartford HealthCare Heart & Vascular Institute Heart Failure Program, to learn about congestive heart failure, who can be affected by it, and how to identify some of the common signs and symptoms. She will also discuss various treatment options and how to access them in your community.

The webinar, Understanding Congestive Heart Failure, is Tuesday, Feb. 16, from 3-4 p.m. A question-and-answer session with the provider will follow the presentation.

The Heart & Vascular Institute’s Congestive Heart Disease Center enables patients who have been diagnosed with congestive heart disease to manage their health and improve the quality of their lives through early symptom recognition, continuity of care, diet planning and medication management. The center offers one-on-one visits or group programs to review medications, diet recommendations and more with patients and their families.
