Specialists in Men’s Health & Sexual Function
Our team excels in treating hypogonadism and erectile dysfunction. In addition our team has expertise in treating other disorders of the penis including Peyronie's disease. An estimated 10% of men suffer from Peyronie's disease, in which the penis bends when erect. We have the only organized group of fellowship trained rehabilitative urology surgeons in the state. They are experts in helping patients regain function after prostatectomies. We do a very high volume of penile implant surgeries, and participate actively in funded research protocols for erectile dysfunction – leading as many as 75 research projects annually. In fact, the only tissue study on sexual potency in medical literature world-wide was done right here.
Our team also treats those suffering from Benign Prostate Hyperplasia (or BPH), offering the HOLAP (holmium laser ablation of the prostate) outpatient procedure as an option for treatment, which does not require the patient to stay overnight.
We also have vast experience and expertise with penile prosthetics. Our practice makes certain that your care is truly comprehensive, so you can return to the best sexual function possible.

Fertility
Because there are many male fertility issues that can’t be found through analysis of semen or specific hormones, it’s important to consult a urologist who is a fertility specialist.
Specialty Training and an Interdisciplinary Team Approach
The Tallwood Institute has one of the few urologists that are fellowship trained in Male Reproductive Medicine. This training includes specialization in the latest technologies and microsurgical skills often required to treat male fertility problems. In combination with this expertise, patients benefit from our interdisciplinary approach to male fertility, involving specialists in gynecology, primary care, and oncology and radiology as needed.
