Hartford Hospital maintains an AAALAC accredited, USDA registered, and NIH OLAW assured facility which is available for investigators interested in preclinical research studies, product development and training. In addition, we are able to offer both GLP and Non-GLP pre-clinical testing and training opportunities for the pharmaceutical and medical-device industries. We are one of the few sites in Connecticut that offers these services to outside organizations. The members of the IACUC work closely with investigators to ensure that all studies are carried out appropriately and in accordance with all relevant regulations.
