Our team at the Chase Family Movement Disorders Center believes in the value of an integrated approach to care.
Beyond the management provided by our specialists in neurology and movements disorders, your care will also involve the expertise of other specialists depending on your treatment plan. These might include urologists, physiatrists, gastroenterologists, sleep medicine specialists, ophthalmologists, cardiologists, and pain specialists. We also have dedicated social workerss and neuropsychologists embedded within our care teams. Of course, your primary care physician will always be the central part of the team.
We also provide access to neurologically-trained and movement disorder specialized speech therapists, physical and occupational therapists, geneticists, nutritionists, psychotherapists, holistic/integrative medicine practitioners, palliative and home-care providers. We even offer compliementary wellness classes in which we connect you with dance, yoga, taichi or boxing instructors, to enhance your overall sense of well-being, physical strength and flexibility.
