Listen to Our New Podcast Series: ‘Coping Through COVID’
April 10, 2020
Beyond the fever and cough, the coronavirus has brought fear and anxiety to our lives. At the very least, it’s disrupted everything we know. While many people can work remotely, nurses, doctors, environmental services and food workers, pharmacists, respiratory therapists and many others don protective gear and help those sick with coronavirus.
To help them, and others, cope with the anxiety and fear the pandemic has brought, Hartford HealthCare has created a podcast series called “Coping through COVID.” The first installment features an interview with Dr. John Santopietro, physician-in-chief of the Hartford HealthCare Behavioral Health Network. He and host Anne Rondepierre, a member of the Hartford HealthCare marketing and communications team, talk about some of the challenges our front line workers are facing, practical tips for getting enough sleep, and helping each other to cope with losses brought about by the virus.
We’d love you to take a listen to “Coping Through COVID.” Visit our new Hartford HealthCare podcast page here and choose the full 30-minute episode or the 3-minute podcast short.
Not feeling well? Call your healthcare provider for guidance and try to avoid going directly to an emergency department or urgent care center, as this could increase the chances of the disease spreading.
