Where to Get A Vaccine, With an Appointment, if You’re 75-Plus
January 12, 2021
Hartford HealthCare, in partnership with state agencies, has begun vaccinating Connecticut residents 75 and older to protect our most vulnerable against COVID-19 and ensure the best use of the vaccines currently allocated.
Appointments are required. Walk-ins are not allowed to ensure safety. Walk-ins could lead to unsafe crowding.
People in the 75-plus age group with an existing MyChartPlus account already can log in and make an appointment at a Hartford HealthCare vaccine clinic.
If they don’t have a MyChartPlus account, it is simple to set one up on Hartford HealthCare’s MyChartPlus.org website.
We have also set up a hotline where people can ask questions about MyChart: 860.972.4993 or you can use the customer service message feature in your MyChartPLUS account.
People can book appointments at Hartford HealthCare vaccine clinics in Wethersfield; Norwich; Shelton; and Hartford. More sites will be added.
Scheduling through MyChart also ensures that vaccinations are entered into patients’ electronic medical records. Next week, the state is expected to expand vaccine availability to more groups.
