Hartford HealthCare Center for Healthy Aging Welcomes Resource Coordinator

Hartford HealthCare Center for Healthy Aging welcomes Sandy Gifford, MBA, as a resource coordinator in Cheshire. With convenient locations throughout Connecticut, the Hartford HealthCare Center for Healthy Aging acts as a resource and assessment center designed to enhance access to services and information related to attaining optimal quality of life for seniors and their caregivers.

Previously, Gifford served as the department coordinator for the Center. In her role, she was responsible for researching and coordinating incoming referrals, organizing community education events, and tracking team marketing events and surveys, supply chain procurement and accounts payable documents.

“I am really looking forward to expanding our reach in the Cheshire area and New Haven County,” said Gifford.

Gifford received her MBA in marketing from Suffolk University. She carries over 20 years of experience working with the elderly population. Today, she will help assess and identify the needs of seniors and connect them to resources, assist in educating and training programs for caregiver and family members, build and maintain positive relationships in the community with hospitals, social service agencies, senior centers and physicians, and coordinate visits, meetings and senior related events.
