Volunteer at Jefferson House and work alongside a team supporting the health and well-being of seniors with recreational activities.

Volunteering can be such a rewarding experience. Just an hour or more of your time, Monday to Saturday during the day, can help the recreation department.

Some activities you may be asked to do include:

• Transporting residents to and from activities.
• Facilitating and coordinating activities.
• Visiting residents in their rooms.
• Walking or sitting with residents in the courtyard.
• Bringing in your pet for pet therapy visits.

Volunteers must be 18 years or older and able to successfully complete a background check, be fingerprinted and show proof of flu and COVID (primary and one booster) vaccination.
