Natchaug Hospital to host 7th Annual “Stop the Stigma” 5K Run and Walk

All are welcome to enjoy great exercise and have fun with family and friends at the Natchaug Hospital 7th Annual “Stop the Stigma” 5K Run and Fun Walk on Saturday, May 20th.

Participants can either run or walk the course. Registration and the start/finish line are located at 196 Conantville Road, Mansfield, the building directly behind the main hospital. Registration begins at 8 a.m. with the race start time at 9 a.m.

The cost is $20 per person (pre-registration) and $30 per person day of event. Day of registration is subject to State of Connecticut restrictions in effect on race day Event is subject to HHC COVID protocols.

Awards will be given for top male and female in the following age categories: 18 and under; 19-29; 30-45; 46-59; 60-69; and, 70 and up.

All proceeds will benefit the Natchaug Food Pantry, a Foodshare partner, which offers perishable and nonperishable items to the community twice a month or by appointment.

This year there will be a hygiene products collection at event registration to support Natchaug clients. Items needed include sample-size deodorant, dental floss, toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, soap, shampoo, conditioner, menstrual pads, and lotions. Please drop off donations at registration and thank you for your support.
